The ACT Government has started a series of Community Pop Up sessions to discuss their plans for the new Health Centre behind the Griffith shops. Details of these can be found at https://yoursayconversations.act.gov.au/inner-south-health-centre/pop-ups
The Government is seeking the community’s initial impressions about the design of the health centre before it moves to into the formal Development Application process. A link to the survey is https://yoursayconversations.act.gov.au/inner-south-health-centre/inner-south-health-centre-short-survey.

GNCA members and residents of the Inner South of Canberra are encouraged to complete the short survey.
The Government publicity has stated that the Health Centre will offer a greater variety of community-based health services including:
- oral health
- pathology collection
- post-acute care and support
- rapid access clinics, and;
- chronic disease management.
Residents will be required to make appointments and some services will only be available to concession card holders. It will not be a nurse led walk in centre like the one in Weston Creek.
