“A Capital for all Australians” Federal Report

The report, A Capital for all Australians, of the federal parliament’s Joint Standing Committee on the National Capital and External Territories had been released. It talks about Canberra’s unique characteristics and its role.

Griffith and Narrabundah, in the Inner South, are infused with Garden City principles and heritage sites that can be used to instil pride in our capital and attract visitors.

The report recognises the value of Manuka Oval as a boutique sporting facility with its surrounding heritage area and trees. The report also makes recommendations for improving visits to Commonwealth and National Heritage listed sites and Red Hill.

The GNCA contributed to the ISCCC submission to the inquiry.
